Working on\u00a0New York Fashion Week<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>was one of my biggest dreams. I believe, that every make-up artist would like to work at the fashion week backstage. It was such an amazing experience!<\/p>\n

On the main photography you can see beautiful models and stunning collection from the finalist of the 17th Project Runway –\u00a0Garo Sparo.<\/a> <\/strong>In the picture you can see the collection called:\u00a0‘COSMIC MIND: AN EVOLUTION’.<\/p>\n

The workshops<\/strong><\/p>\n

I signed up for The Makeup Show<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0“Work The Runway” <\/strong>workshops at first. It gives you opportunity to meet great and enormous talented make-up leaders as Danessa Myricks<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and James Vincent<\/a><\/strong>. They will tell you everything about the industry and fashion business.<\/p>\n

After workshops Danessa and James can pick you to work with them at the backstage<\/strong>. You need to be hardworking, stay focused and have a good vibes only!<\/p>\n

And I made it<\/strong>! They gave me this amazing opportunity to work on the New York Fashion Week backstage! I feel so honoured.<\/p>\n

Backstage<\/strong><\/p>\n

To work backstage you need to be prepared working hard<\/strong>. In general, fashion week starts at 7am and ends about 10 pm. You don’t do only make-up, sometimes you need to do nails or hair too.<\/p>\n

Demo make-up<\/strong><\/p>\n

During one day of fashion week there are several fashion shows. Every show starts from getting directions from the key make-up artist<\/strong>. After that, key mua is doing a demo make-up look to show you how the make-up will look like.<\/p>\n

Sometimes cosmetics are provided (as you can see in the pictures), but sometimes they are not. You should always have your make-up, hair and nails kit with you<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Calebrities<\/strong><\/p>\n

During one show – S by SERENA Williams<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0I saw Anna Wintour, Kim Kardashian, Alessandra Ambrosio<\/strong> and more celebrities.<\/p>\n

You shouldn’t take too much photos and you can’t filming. You need to work, not entertain yourself. During the fashion week there’s a lot of celebrities and they will be with you on a backstage. You shouldn’t use your smartphone too much. Work needs to be done!<\/p>\n

Did I like it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am working in a make-up industry for more than 7 years and I was always working hard. But I have never beed so tired, as after fashion week\u00a0?<\/p>\n

And you know what? I love it! I love this rush and creative energy<\/strong> on the backstage, I’ve learned so much. Danessa and James are just amazing. They are high professional and very kind. They are helpful and full of energy. They are hardworking and precise, as all their team is.<\/p>\n
