Lockdown will end soon (I hope) and all shops will be reopen. Just before epidemic I was able to make a short vlog about my shopping routine. What are my favorite and affordable places where you can get a great stuff in a good price? Yes, that’s TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ross and JC Penny.

As an European I didn’t know Marshalls, Ross and JC Penny before. We do have TK Maxx which is the same place as TJ Maxx but has a different product line. We have a few or almost nothing from the most popular American brands like Levis, Guess, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors or Ivanka Trump.

JC Penny is of course the most expensive of those four places, but you can buy there beautiful dresses for every occasion. In Europe, we do have a plentiful shopping malls but we do not have a store with such a wide choice of dresses and gowns in one place.

In Polish or European TK Maxx there is a lot of cosmetics, accessorises, jewellery, shoes and clothes. All of them are mostly from European brands like Karl Lagerfeld, Massimo Dutii or Zara.

The difference between Europe and US is that here you can find assortment from every brand – even European. Prices are lower than in Europe and you can find marks like:

• Marc Jacobs, Levis, Guess
• Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Karl Lagerfeld
• Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, Zara
• Ivanka Trump, Massimo Dutti, Ralph Lauren

In Europe you won’t find as much large sizes as here. There is a lot of small or extra small but we don’t have a lot of extra large sizes which are available here at your fingertips.

Shoes is my favourite department. I love shoes and I think an exquisite selection of shoes is in Macy’s and then in sequence: Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls.

The same wide choice of cosmetics brands is in Europe as in US. However we don’t have as much american brands, which are available here, at hand:

• Bobbi Brown, Marc Jacobs, Too Faced,
• Anastasia Beverly Hills, Nars, Ardell,
• Stila, Kat Von D., Makeup Revolution

As a makeup artist I would say that care products and cosmetics are always worth to buy, wherever you are!

Sometimes I buy also a jewellery which is high quality and much cheaper than in Macy’s or even JC Penny.

Brushes and makeup accessories are the same wide range in Poland and in US. They are affordable and good quality. I always find something what becomes my favourite for a long time.

Just pay attention, that not everything what is cheap is worth buying. After lockdown there will be a lot of clarences and sales just because warehouses will have to get rid of their goods.
