✨ Beginnings: Dream, Commitment, Mission

When I founded Makeup Manufacture Academy — I knew that makeup was something more than just cosmetics. It’s art, a tool to express oneself, personality, and emotions. I also knew that I wanted to pass this passion on — to teach others, inspire, and open doors to the world of makeup, styling, and character design. This belief is reflected in the Academy’s values: originality, courage, creativity, and the highest quality.

We started small. But with great faith that what we were doing made sense. Every course, every model, every lesson was an investment in the future — mine and my students’. Over time, this belief turned into a recognizable, real brand.

Running a Business in Poland — Behind the Scenes

Although today I look proudly at Makeup Manufacture Academy and everything I’ve built over the past five years, I cannot overlook one thing: running a business in Poland is (to say the least) a huge challenge. It’s not an easy path. It’s often a battle with windmills — with regulations, bureaucracy, paperwork, and unpredictable costs that can eat up your business. Many of my friends had to close their companies during this period. It requires making tough decisions, sacrifices, constant investments, and sometimes balancing passion with hard financial reality.

No one sees those late nights spent on documents, analyses, or planning the upcoming months. No one sees the stress when costs rise faster than income, or when you have to take risks to move the Academy forward. Yet — despite this daily struggle — I continue to act, create, grow, and believe it’s worth it. Every student, every course, every transformation reminds me that this path, though difficult, is also the most beautiful one I could have chosen.

? My Treasure – International Experience Unique in Poland — from Photoshoots to Global Shows

From the very beginning, I wanted Makeup Manufacture not to be just a local “home studio,” but a space of international standards. Thanks to the experiences gained on photoshoots, advertising campaigns, events, and even at New York Fashion Week. Below is a video from one of the shows I attended.

I am proud to have worked in places where there were no other Polish makeup artists. I worked multiple times at New York Fashion Week and backstage met Kim Kardashian, Anna Wintour, Serena Williams, and Alessandra Ambrosio. I was offered a position as a lecturer at Makeup Forever Academy on Broadway, which was postponed due to the pandemic. From that time, I still maintain friendships — with Floriane David, then director of the school, and with renowned artists Danessa Myricks and James Vincent.

These experiences taught me not only technique — they taught me to see makeup as part of art, style, and storytelling. That’s why courses at the Academy have always been and remain conducted at the highest level — with attention to detail, personalized approach, and real preparation for professional work.

? Hollywood, Los Angeles

One of the milestones in my career was studying at Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles. Classes were conducted by top makeup artists and special effects artists, multiple Oscar winners, including Ve Neil, Michael Spatola, and airbrush specialist Nelly Recchia. I am proud to have learned from the best and to maintain contact with instructors I met there. At this school, one of the best in the world, I mastered special effects techniques and airbrush makeup.

? Publishing the Book — The Next Step

Makijażowy Anti-Aging is not just a guide — it’s the result of many years of experience, observations, and working with women of various ages. The book was created for women 35+ who want to learn daily makeup, skin care, and techniques that highlight their natural beauty regardless of age. Importantly — I wrote it myself! This is not obvious nowadays, when many authors use ghostwriters or even artificial intelligence. As a graduate in literary comparative studies from Jagiellonian University, it would have been a shame not to write it myself.

In “Makijażowy Anti-Aging,” I combined technical knowledge with intuition — a combination that often determines truly professional results. It was important to me that the book is accessible, reliable, and practical — so anyone who reads it can immediately implement the tips. This helps both private individuals and professional makeup artists to elevate their skills.

The outcome exceeded my expectations — many women wrote to me that they changed their approach to makeup and skincare. Seeing their transformations and joy — I know it was the right step. This also helped build my authority as someone who truly knows the subject and shares knowledge. Thank you, it fills me with pride!
